About the project  

Project aims to provide timely and tailored mental health support for Ukrainian refugees at community level. Also to provide mental health support to people in the communities that host Ukrainian refugees – host families, social and healthcare providers, teachers, staff and children in schools, interpreters, volunteers, etc. as well as to support the social inclusion of Ukrainian refugees in society.

This will be done by equipping human resources with the skills to provide tailored mental health support to Ukrainian refugees and people in the communities hosting them; improving current provision of mental health services in the communities targeted by the project; decreasing discriminatory trends in communications (communities, media) related to refugee communities.

In Lithuania the trainings will be held about war and migration impact on mental health and ways to help people who went through these experiences. Trainings will reach mental health specialists, volunteers and workers at migration centers. Advocacy and communication activities will also be implemented.
