Ready to help: strengthening mental health literacy and emotional competencies of professionals working with foreigners

Project aim 

To strengthen the professional competence of persons engaged in contact work with citizens of non-European Union member states or stateless persons in the Republic of Lithuania by increasing psychological resilience and mental health literacy.

Project activities

  • online trainings that provide the basics of mental health literacy to specialists who have just started working with migrants and help to improve knowledge for specialists who have previously worked in this field.
  • contact trainings for practical skills of first emotional aid and providing an opportunity to discuss difficult cases.
  • group and team supervisions that develop self-care skills and psychological resilience.

It is planned that at least 500 specialists will complete the training during the project implementation period, including at least 364 specialists completing first emotional aid program trainings.
