Project goal

The Overall objective of the project is to strengthen and empower civil society organizations in the Baltic Sea region, Norway and belarus in order to promote their participation in mental health policy and decision-making processes. A strong consortium composed of six CSOs from have been summoned for the project and special attention will be alocated to developing and strengthen CSOs coalitions in Belarus and Lithuania. Best practises of CSOs participation in the processes of deinstitutionalization will be identified and described.

 Expected results

1.    Belarus Civil Society Organisations are mobilized and equipped with knowledge to promote and later watchdog the process of mental health policy development and implementation;

2.    Mental health CSOs coalitions are promoted and endorsed across the region of Baltic Sea and Belarus;

3.    New international links and synergies for fruther pan-Baltic cooperation in the field of mental health are created;

4.    Best practises are gathered and presented in the international conference in Vilnius.
