Let’s talk about mental health in schools!
First steps toward open and authentic conversations in schools
On October 17–18, in Vilnius, YoungMinds proudly joined the Lithuanian Health & Wellbeing Expo, together with teachers, students, and youth workers from across the country. This in-person event brought together inspiring voices from education and health to share one powerful goal — promoting youth mental health and breaking the silence around it.
At our stand, we didn’t just talk about mental health — we lived it. Through interactive activities, heartfelt conversations, and creative challenges, students and teachers explored what it truly means to care for our minds and for each other.

The energy, honesty, and curiosity we witnessed showed that young people are ready to lead the change — to build schools where empathy, openness, and wellbeing are part of everyday life.
Together, we’re shaping a new culture — one where talking about mental health feels as natural as saying hello.
