Peer support implementation to promote youth’s mental health

Aim of the project:

The project aims to foster the exchange of knowledge and best practices in peer support implementation within the mental health sector, specifically targeting youth, by organizing a study visit and events between Iceland, Lithuania, Norway, and the Faroe Islands (Denmark) non-governmental organizations.

Envisaged results

  1. Study visit to Lithuania from the Faroe Islands, and Iceland NGO’s to exchange knowledge and good practices on how to implement peer support.
  2. 1 short video about peer support implementation will be made and at least 1 article will be created to promote peer support implementation and emphasize the user organization’s role in it.
  3. An online advocacy event will be held with speakers from at least 2 different countries implementing peer support.
