Project goal

Develop and introduce three separate training modules on children and adolescent mental health areas for Georgia child psychiatrists, paediatricians, neurologists and psychologists.

Project results

In 2006, two five-day long seminars on the training module “Developmental psychology and psychopathology theories” and one seminar on second training module where Georgian professionals were introduced to the modern mental health care trends in European and world context. They got to know mental health policies in different countries, newest developmental psychology theory models and principles, additionally practical methods of modern psychodynamics theories, developmental psychopathology theories and separate children mental health disorders, as well their treatment and therapy methods.
