Aim of the project
In recent years, the non-governmental sector has been facing increasing financial and security-related challenges, including shrinking project-based funding, growing competition for resources, and rising cybersecurity threats. At the same time, the need for mental health support, human rights advocacy, and community-based services continues to grow. In this context, strengthening the resilience and sustainability of civil society organisations has become increasingly important.
Through this project, Mental Health Perspectives aims to strengthen its organisational capacities, financial sustainability, and technological resilience in order to continue its mission of promoting human rights and strengthening the mental health system in Lithuania.
Main activities:
- reviewing and refining the organisation’s strategic direction and priorities
- strengthening financial sustainability through the development of training and other expert services;
- developing a communication and visibility strategy to increase the organisation’s outreach and accessibility of services;
- strengthening staff competencies in communication, strategic planning, and cybersecurity;
- reviewing and improving the organisation’s cybersecurity systems and practices;
The project will contribute to the organisation’s long-term resilience and help ensure that mental health and human rights initiatives remain sustainable, accessible, and impactful in a rapidly changing social and political environment.
