Project is implemented by HelpAge (Germany) and partners: World Granny (the Netherlands), Mental Health Perspectives (lith. &#8211; Psichikos sveikatos perspektyvos) (Lithuania), and Fundacja Sue Ryder (Poland).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Project results<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>An exhibition \u201cThe silent heroes\u201d was shown 7 times in different Lithuanian cities. It consists of ten amazing photos and five touching stories about African grandmothers and grandchildren whom they take care of.<\/p>\n<p>A theatre play \u201cPeople are living here\u201d on global ageing was staged together with \u201cPal\u0117p\u0117s teatras\u201d from Vilnius Gediminas Technical University and is shown periodically in 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Social campaigns \u201cAge Demands Action\u201d were organized on the 1st of October 2012\u2013 international day of elderly persons.<\/p>\n<p>Educational events on development cooperation, Millennium Development Goals and global ageing were organized in Lithuanian high schools and universities.<\/p>\n<p>In 2013 meetings with elderly person Joseph Mbatia from Tanzania were organized in Lithuania.
